Introduction to the Apparel Industry for Teens launched its program on September 8, 2007. Classes are in session at the North Highlands/Antelope Library in Antelope.

Although the class instruction has started and the deadline has ended, the company will still accept applications for next years program. All applicants will be required to attend an interview as part of the process.

The company has elected to hold the pilot program in North Sacramento only and is currently in its planning stage for next years continuing students training. This training will be held as Session II and will be conducted from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm on Saturdays only. Students will refine their learned skills and participate in the annual fashion show.

All Class sessions are held on Saturdays only.

Events

May 2008 marks the 1st Annual Fashion Show for Designer Apprenticeship program. The venue and dates for the show will be announced Soon.

Sponsors

Fashion Designers of Sacramento is looking for sponsors in support of the continuing training and education for the Apprenticeship Program. The company will be looking for volunteer seamstresses to assist in preparation for the upcoming show in May 2008.
