Membership Description

Professional

Our professional members benefit by workshops, seminars, conferences and semi-annual fashion shows. The company also provides a free monthly Trade Newsletter keeping  you updated on industry happenings. Our calendar of events and meetings are also available on-line for members who would like to attend. Members also have the option of providing their logos or labels which are showcased at all attended business expos through Fashion Designers of Sacramento Booths thus giving more marketing by the company. A $20.00 set up fee is required to print the banner. Our semi-annual fashion show will be visited by local buyers and boutique owners to view current collections.Cost: $60.00

Affiliate

The Affiliate membership which is normally our boutique owners who are looking for the latest talent benefit from their first hand notification of upcoming  collections that are presented at our semi-annual fashion shows. Buyers receive special show invitations for private viewings.Cost: $40.00

Associate

The Associate members are a major asset to the organization. They are the businesses that are indirectly support the designers as vendors, graphic artist, web masters, sample makers, models and more. Associate members are notified of all upcoming shows by our calendar  of events giving them the opportunity to apply for spots to sell their products. The fee is strictly for administrative updates.Cost: $10.00

Students

Student membership refers to college students. You are encouraged to participate in the organization activities. The benefits include an opportunity to participate in fashion shows, discounted fees on all publications, workshops, classes and events. Competition for scholarship awards and opportunity to obtain apprenticeship placement is possible.Cost:$25.00

Youth

Our youth memberships requires parent approval. There is no cost to youth participants. A parent child interview is required. Youth memberships are students in grades nine through grade twelve in our Apparel Industry Knowledge training program.No Fees

Sponsors/ Volunteers

Fashion Designers of Sacramento solicits sponsorship and volunteers mainly to help with our community programs. These programs help to bring our youth into the industry on a positive level through industry training.

In appreciation of our committed sponsors, we offer advertising on the company web site and all attended business expos by Fashion Designers of Sacramento. Sponsors are always acknowledged in all programs for fashion shows and events. Sponsors receive special invitations to events.
